Crokiey! I go over the character limit ONCE and more start spawning like my life depends on it Dx URAGH i forgot how fun design was.

This is my entrance to ~moonfeather's contest, Which I stumbled upon whilst devhopping across peoples pages. I don't usually enter contests but when people make up a unique species then offer people to make their own FOR A PRIZE OMG its just too tempting to pass up ((hell its tempting even without a prize ahhaha))

Now i knoooooooow that the whole ejyptian themed character thing has been done to death, its definitly not original anymore but when i looked at the beautiful elegant face of the shi'rah my imagination just SCREAMED arabic for like a full hour... it was very confusing ... ;D because I don't know any arabic.... So here im hoping that my take on it is original enough to get me somewhere in this contest.
Little things are off about it, headsize wingsize a bit out of proportion in comparison to her ref sheets [link] but i think i did a pretty damn good job getting the rest of the details right.

Gender: Female
Species: Shi'Rah (winged)
Adornments: Aquamarine earring (left ear), plain gold circlet (head), 3 gold/aquamarine beads (tail), silk hair wraps/ties
Difinitive Markings: Goldlike coloration about the eyes, ears, nose bridge, also in ring like patterns around the back legs and curled designs around the front (yes these are markings not bracelettes)
Eyes: Horizontal pupil, black encroaching iris, cyan fading to yellow
Personality: Aloof yet quiet this Shi'Rah carries herself with a certain grace as though born to be noble. When conducting herself around others she is very polite and never looses her cool. It is as though she has no anger inside her or the overbearing pride sometimes exhibited by royalty. Quite dainty she is apt to break under stresses of any nature, becoming timid and openly frightened when threatened. Though her shy nature has been a barrier in her search for friends beyond her siblings.
Background: ((I don't have much to go on with in reguards to time, envioronment, world info soo uhmm...)) Isphet was born in a litter of 4 to the Queen. Her paternity still undiscided as from the Queen's harem of males.
