good LORD this was long in the development. My most in depth detailed species yet

BEHOLD THE PODCATS!!! the name I came up with in ITP class trying to make an acronym for all the information processes.
The idea snagged in my mind and I rolled with it ^^

sooooo readup and learn about these wierd looking amphibian felines and give me your opinion (i really wanna see what sorta response they will get <333

I know i hate it too but heres the rules and stuff.

Due to overwhelming responce and some points people picked up i'd like to add this
.:some fine tuning and owner details:.
Swimming and breathing: The rubbery fin along their spine is able to absorb water and oxygen like the skin of a frog to let them spend extended time underwater. They can also compact their lungs to swim to far lower depths and handle greater pressure. They have adapted both modes of respiratory incase of being stranded in a dry area with no rain.
Their movement underwater is very much like that of an otter, paws held tight to the belly or slightly out when moving fast. Limbs held out and paddling when moving slowly.

If i give you permission to create a podcat character (please ask me so i can keep track).
I would prefer if you did not use these characters for roleplay as that was not their intended purpose, more for art documentary and study. If you draw them anything, even a scrap SEND IT TO MEEE 8D i want to seeeeEe! <3

and points to remember when creating the characters themselves.
Males lights are brighter than females.
The colour green can range from any pigment of green even hinting at yellows or blues (etc lime, seagreen) but mostly green please.
Podcats do not have eyebrows xDDD but have a prominant cranium definition (makes them look a lil frowny but meh).
Scars are common and are of greyish colouring, if fresh they have a greenish tint >the colour of their blood<. (with all those claws and battles for ranking theres bount to be a few deep scratches)
Tattos are EXTREMELY rare and reserved for the queen's army commander or herself.
DO NOT make an albino podcat this is a one in a million chance and I already have that one so no more please xD
Podcats are always that solid black colour in body.
Keep the anatomy, number of lights etc the same as the examplee shown here, we wouln't want too many anomalys no matter how tempting
