Artist's Comments~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "Like the love between you and me" Something wierd... really weird happened when I uploaded this one over Easter which I had been saving to surprise you folks. I asked a few of my friends and they said it hadn't even appeared in their inboxes... only 24 people had 'seen' it in total o.O even my lowliest of sketches gets viewed WAY over that many people seeing it... so it seems like DA had a weird glitch out with this one submission. So here I am submitting it again! Sorry if you have seen this more than once but I worked many many hours on it. Basically a cheer up painting I did for myself whilst staying at my parents away from my love <3 I thought I ahd saved the old description but I can't find it. Its a remake of an older picture with the same theme that remains fairly popular in my gallery still. Can you guess which? Watercolor background and eyes for effect, acrylic figures. They are our therian forms at their purest so no markings. CommentsWow, thats cool!
The tigers all like -- MY BIRTHDAY IS MAY 28!!! Gifts please? REALLY Cheap Commisions! Please help I'm trying to help my dad! They're always open to anyone! I CAN LOWER THE PRICE TO WHAT YOU CAN AFFORD! [link] Aw, it's so beautiful! I can tell from seeing your character's expression that you were missing your hubby. There's such a sense of longing in her eyes... and your tiger's expression seems so serene and comforting.
This just makes me melt. -- Star avatar by the amazingly talented *Kaylink Consider the daffodil. And while youre doing that, Ill be over here, looking through your stuff. Oh, and, yes, this is the first time I've seen it, so DA must have just NOMMed that submission.

BASTARD DA xD making me feel bad for like 3 hours before I realized it MUST be a glitch >.>; lol way to defeat my confidence in real media. I feel better now that people can actually see it
-- Do you have nothing better to do with your life? Go out and plant a fucking tree, you lazy bitch. Plant it most violently. Rip somebody's parking lot up to do it. Beat them violently to death with a shovel, if they try to object. ~ Alexiuss @w@ Your wish is my command. I do need to draw them more often! I think my partner would appreciate it, too.
I love seeing your two characters, too. In fact, I love pretty much all inter-species couples... but, of course, those involving tigers are always in my top faves as well. -- Star avatar by the amazingly talented *Kaylink Consider the daffodil. The angle of the tiger nose is a bit too straight on, I would suggest that turning it a bit would have made it flow a bit better. The tiger's left eye is also a bit flat, if you had brought it down just a bit farther and rounded it more that would have avoided that. I know it's hard to get that angle though sometimes. I would have suggested brining the wolf body or tiger body down a little bit to fill in that gap between the edge of the paper and where the body of the wolf kind of ends or make it a bit darker there so it doesn't seem like the tiger is floating above the wolf so much. I would have also brought the ground color up a little higher.
Overall though it's a very lovely painting. I like it. Keep up the great work.
However, I feel like the background should have been flipped over a little bit, for lack of a better way to put it. The green part of the background may have looked better behind the tiger and his bright red eyes. Red and green are complimentary so the eyes would have really popped. Furthermore, the green background and the wolf's green eyes are pretty much the same shade, and sort of... blend into one another. This is very nice to an extent, as the pale green looks gorgeous against the black fur. But I feel like a bit of differentiation would have done the background some good.
I really like the implied ground, on the topic of the background. That little bit of brown in the corner really weighs the image down nicely, giving it a very strong, sturdy composition. I think the eyes are my only real complaint.
Except Mr.Tiger-face has a bit of a crooked muzzle/nose bridge. The nose, bottom of the mouth and the eyes of an animal all lay on basically the same plane of perspective. But his eyes are in 3/4 view while his nose is almost facing the viewer. Bit of a skew there, nothing that can be fixed in this image per say but is something to take note of anyway. Also, his nose/muzzle seems to be a little long, but that might be due to its awkward turned appearance.
Overall, I really like the message presented here. Well done. :3
