Pretty much self explanatory, an older species than the podcats with new design and a spiffeh new species sheet which took several days x__x. No less thought out and designed though. As you can see from all the writing quite a lot of thought was put in heheh.
(( pleaaaase don't point out any misspellings or grammatical errors im well aware that they are there. this is about the art! Dx ))

I just thought it was time to bring them out into public properly x3 since I never did and I have alot more watchers now and better art *cough*ewOldpictures*cough*

Wow awesome. Very interesting theory, you've thought out their biology quite well :) I love the long stretched out design and how you've also incorporated it into the muzzle as well.
The whole thing about swallowing and trapping souls is marvellous, hence as is the phoenix-style regeneration.

In your description you said that when they die the energy of the trapped souls' release creates a new sylphoid. Does this mean the only way to truly kill one is to kill it just after its regeneration before it's had a chance to devour anything?

Also, are they born in the same spot at the same time? Or does it take a while (minutes/hours/days) for a new sylphoid to spawn from the death of an old one?
Is a sylphoid pup born with any memories of its old life or are they like fresh clean slates?

I ask too many questions ^^; I'm such an askhole.
