Artist's Comments  well this is my first piece done on holiday, real media on account of me coming from SNOW temperatures to +30 in a couple of days time and the computer room (my digital art area) being way too hot to stand for longer than 2 hrs at a time. UGH things have been way too hectic here personally too. I thought this would be the perfect time to buckle down and make some art but digitally its a nightmare. Hence watercolors.. aaah watercolors. The one medium that always beats my ass into submission with how LITTLE patience and skill I have for it. To me I could only aspire to be as awesome as the incredibly talented *AlectorFencer and *Ricefish who rape and inspire me with their skillz! I have NEVER had a watercolor class or teacher and am floundering pathetically in the medium with little to no materials... but I try D: Atleast I have a good scanner here in aussie... </3 If anyone has any watercolor advice please feel free to speak up. I don't have any masking fluid hence the wonky un-evenness of the podcat itself. Materials: watercolor, green, white and silver prismacolor pencils, white acrylic paint for details. Critique? I can't say anything...  Wow, you really see the watery nature of the podcat here, and even though its in water colour it looks awesome especially the fur.

The water has a very lifelike appearance, especially with the shadows of the podcat beneath the surface. I say don't be beat, but do more of these only to improve on the skills that you already are showing.

 The water's texture is unbelievably pretty... the perspecitve might be a little off at some spots but otherwise really good-looking.
