I know alot of my watchers don't respond very well to my dragon art (canineluverswhut?) but I put a shit-ton of effort into this and its a part of me too so i'll have it here anyway.

As some of you know I am a very spiritual person, I believe in totem animals, spiritual association, therianthropy and otherkin etc. However I also believe that for the most part the soul of a person is too diverse and colorful to be represented by just one creature. We have varying degrees of 'dominant' natures.
For example wolf is my dominant therian spirit, it best represents my personality and its just the largest part of me. However there are smaller but influential spirits making up the whole of my soul. (Not multiple personality's...)
In my opinion I think anyone could associate with a dragon, their possibility is endless, they embody creativity and personality. They hold that mysterious ever changing quality of time, they are a difficult spirit to define.

Eh im rambling. I just went through one of the most toughest, stressful and shitty time recently and now that im over it, I pulled through I feel like this part of myself has changed. Become stouter, stronger, braver and more mature. Shes my shield, my protector, a pool of inner strength and endurance.

For example look at how I used to perceive her: (old form) [link] playful, light and flitty but still armored, childish and free of earthly binds. I no longer dream of her in that way, this form is built to endure, her wings shorter for more maneuverable flight and her feet flat for firm grounding.

As for the art itself I used a ton more airbrushing than I normally do and there is NO LINE ART just a colored sketch, albeit a clean sketch. Texture is by *hibbary I know I coulda been more inventive with the texture and the shadow under her disappeared but I loved the plain look of the background, very dreamy and like parchment.
