Yeah I was around for the immediate switch to v6 too, everyone wailed about v5 then we got used to it, now we are wailing about this new change. They had a good idea I think but it still seems to need much more improvement and shouldn't have been implemented yet. SO heres some good and bad points personally I have noticed.

- Giving picture thumbs to non subscribers? Woah.. way to loose your subbies DA, alot of people were forking out money for that feature alone. Sure CSS is nice, no adverts are nice and using thumbs in our journals is NICE but not really worth the price of subscription. Many people have expressed this sentiment, us subscribers need some new better features to keep us feeding you money DA...

- There is no longer a flashy border around comments when they are being sent so its hard to tell if their freezing up or actually sending. Iv had mine freeze up on alot of occasions now.
I must admit I like how the new comments section is set up splitting up replies and new comments is a handy thing. and I like the little icons with speech bubbles coming out. However notice we can't see people 'signatures' anymore?

- When looking through your message center/deviant watch the top no longer describes how many messages you have, you have to go through all the categories manually to find out. This troubles me personally ALOT for some reason.

-The change that pissed me off the most is how new deviations are shown. In the deviations section they give you an option to view by artist or by date. NEVER does it stay on view by artist and even then in view by artist IT STILL VIEWS BY DATE!? The pictures uploaded don't stay together under the same artist if someone else uploaded a piece before they did, it breaks it up annoyingly.
ALSO they removed artists icons from the deviations page, now I personally associated artworks with a person's icon not their deviant name, so its confusing whats coming from where.

Irritating much? Has anyone else suffered these issues or found more?

Bah my journals getting cluttered with all this crappeh!

Anyways im sorry for the seeming lack of art lately guys. Iv done a fair bit of badges etc in real media but I don't feel like uploading all of them. Still more to go too.
Iv been feeling rather uninspired lately but I think thats just a side effect of my general mood.

Been Lacking something recently, feel like I sleep badly and never get enough of it.. so energyless during the days even if I force myself to go out and do something. I get random dizzy spells and my neck huuuuuuuuuuurts and shoulders ache. I think I may need a chiropractic appointment since this is the longest iv been without one (4 months). I have Lordosus (sp?) which puts undue stress on my spine and body but not to a ridiculous degree, thats one of the reasons I frequent the chiro.
*curls up into a ball of fur and sighs* expensive...

On a good note my mother in law brought a set of His Dark Materials, which iv been very interested to read since the movie and my own daemon's revelation. Iv started reading it and HAVEN'T been able to put it down, kinda a good thing because all I feel like doing is curling up with a book these days.

Lastly something iv been wanting to mention since it was drawn...

He really outdid himself on it too, one of his best to be sure and not nearly getting enough attention that it deserves.

Unique fursonas! I want you to send me a link to a picture of your fursona and give me a short paragraph WHY you think your fursona is original and interesting. Then I will pick the most original one and draw it :3 inspire me.
however you can only enter a fursona that is NOT a wolf, husky, malemute, fox, kitsune, horse, dragon, normal gryphon (large bird of prey + large feline/canine), lion or other large feline. This includes housecats and any larger wolf like dogs.
Or anything based too closely on any of the above.

just because their exactly that! common D: This mini contest I made to inspire myself really since iv been bored and looking for new and interesting things to draw...
and whenever someone asks me for a commission (hell alot of my characters too) are all of the things above.
Im kinda hippo critical cause I couldn't even enter my own contest really :3 maybe with one of my less 'main' fursonas. Im well aware that canines/regular looking things can still be original and have great meaning and whatnot, I have alot of characters like that.
However the anthro/feral/animal art community is FLOODED (omfgwolves..) with all of the above things specifically as fursonas, I have seen a few enjoyable unique non common fursonas that have inspired me so I want other people who have them to shove them in my face xD
Also alot of art contests are biased towards creatures like this because they are popular and have a fandom that follows them around giving them votes and whatnot. So I thought to do the opposite for once!
The fact that it keeps alot of people entering dosn't exactly bother me cause it was supposed to be a mini contest >.> plus it also means i'll get to draw the winner something I truely haven't drawn before. Its just a quick little thing for fun.
Possibly it may inspire some of the people who are solely canine/feline related artworks to branch out and do something different too? I dunno :3 please don't be upset. I might do another mini contest later that revolves around most inspiring original common character?


It also HAS to be your fursona not an original character (OC) it needs to be something you consider to represent you. I WILL CHECK THAT ITS YOUR FUCKING FURSONA >:V (I do respect that people have more than one fursona. Can be anthro/feral/were) If you have multiple unique fursonas feel free to enter more than one.
I do need some sort of color picture to go by too. Not nessisarily a reference just a picture you've done of them.
If your not sure if your fursona is too much like one of the above just post it anyways and i'll tell you yes or no.

Urgh im pretty behind on my comments and sketching for commishes here the noticeable lack of real art too heh. Iv been getting a fair chunk of work with my Nana in law at her balloon art, decoration and delivery company ( [link] if you wanna see what we do ). Hell just yesterday I worked 12 hours solid and now my arms ache x___x its a surprisingly physical job, hauling tons of boxes of prep work, wheeling MASSIVE helium tanks around is no cake walk. I also have to go in again in an hour >_> atleast im getting some credit for being creative and strong.
I also have to do prep work like "smooshing" i'll leave you guys to guess what thats about o,o

Oh does anyone know anything about shipping small animals? Its a good chance we have enough money to move out within a few months. THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO BOUGHT A COMMISH OR TWO <3. Anyways I ofcourse need to bring my two babys with me. Their hoodie rats, still very young. Since we're going to practically the opposite coast of canada we need to go by plane -no car- Has anyone had any experience with shipping small animals and the damage? $$$$? Iv investigated a few websites and didn't get enough info so I thought i'd ask if anyone had experience.

Iv had some good news! We possibly can move out of here within two months if we can save up enough cash for plane tickets to Williams lake. Our Friend Aaron there has recently been screwed over by his roommates and now has a free bedroom in his nice little apartment to share. this is a fucking BRILLIANT opportunity that we don't want to pass up. But the thing is I can't work here in canada yet! its illegal and I need to keep my reputation spotless for immigration.

Currently my DIGITAL commissions list is FULL and I can't take anymore for fear of it getting backed up and taking too long for the people already who have paid.

HOWEVER! I am offering $10 ACEO or BADGE commissions anything that can fit in a regular envelope! I don't have the equipment or supplies to make fancy badges with clips and lamination but I can do the artwork for them if you wish to do the rest yourself. ACEOs are small but very detailed. Theres some examples below.
Since these are all done in REAL MEDIUM aka markers/pencils like the examples below I can send them to you in the mail! Also I can do these in my breaks when I need to get away from the computer cause quite frankly it gets hard on my eyes and neck sitting here for so long.
So Please consider commissioning me for an ACEO or badge! I really need the money and anything I can earn in these two months is helpful to making this move work. I take Paypal and Snail mail!
