more via previous journal: Advice Help? Drawing hand pain.

I did make some progress. After 4 days of not using my hand at all, the stiffness/pain eased up a bit.

Iv been using a hand/wrist brace overnight to keep things straight for healing, Doing these: www.youtube.com/watch?v=hUyMNy… stretches atleast 3 times a day.
Soaking in Epson salts or rubbing Icyhot in. Trying to remember to take my glucosamine/MSM supplement.

I switched all my mousing/clicking duties to my left hand to take some strain off which I will probably stick to because I really should get some better co-ordination in that hand anyway.

Gently returning to drawing yesterday and today, for short bursts and trying to not grip hard/use tense pressure. Iv wrapped my tablet pen in foam to make it a little bulkier to hold. Can anyone recommend a good type of cheap pencil grip for when im using real media? :> Have you used one before?

Do NOT switch hands.  You are already subconsciously using it more than usual.  Adding more stress to that will expound the situation, and soon your other hand will also be in pain.  I've gone through this, and I still do everyday as there is no real recovery from RMIs.  I've had sign language speakers tell me to not compensate with my other hand on purpose.
